Reasons to Watch

“Project Wolf Hunting” not only pushes the envelope when it comes to on-screen violence but completely shreds it. It might be one of the most violent action films I’ve ever seen. Director Hong-sun Kim has stated that 2.5 tons of blood were used in the making of the film, and it’s easy to believe.

The film’s plot is simple: survive on a ship with police, prisoners, and other things. The simple idea of being trapped and having to survive the night has been done countless times, but I don’t mind it in a film like this.

But “Project Wolf Hunting” isn’t just an action bloodbath. The film cleverly veers into horror territory, adding a deliciously dark twist to the narrative that will catch many viewers off guard. The horror is mild but its a welcome addition, considering how rare it is to see an action film with actual horror elements. This is a must-watch for fans of both genres.
