Reasons to Watch
This movie is very simple, but what really stands out is its incredibly creepy setting. The small, perfectly dark house where most of the film takes place effectively makes you feel on edge. This is one of the bright spots of the film.
There’s also some really subtle humor throughout the film that horror fans will appreciate. When we saw this film in theaters, there was a consistent flow of laughter throughout its runtime.
Be warned, there are a fair amount of jump scares, but we really loved some of the slow-building moments that felt genuinely tense.
Many people have found Oddity to be a little predictable, but it’s totally worth a watch.
